Awesome place to discover some new tastes !
This place is just unbelievable. A friend from work in San Francisco, California recommended me to come to San Pancho and the highlight of his recommendation was this restaurant. In particular, the mole from this restaurant. The mole’s recipe is the recipe from the owner’s grand mother who lived up to the +100 years mark and had her own take on mole. Needless to say, this is the BEST mole I have ever eaten. That’s a big statement knowing I live in California where Mexican mole is everywhere. Try any of their sopes, particularly the shrimp with mole one, you’ll thank me later. The ambiance is so unique and the desserts are mouthwatering. The restaurant is next to a really traditional plaza which is a huge plus. An absolute MUST in San Pancho.

Mau was so friendly to us on our tour, and the sopes were DIVINE. So tasty. Absolutely give this place a try! I loved how he shared his personal story to success and we left feeling uplifted and inspired. Might need some magic juice for the road! Mmm.
Something different, delicious, gourmet, and with good service. It's a bit pricey, but it's totally worth it.

The food it’s delicious, great idea to do a gourmet sope . If you’re at San Pancho don’t forget to eat at “Su Pancha Madre”, and the owner and stuff are super friendly they made us feel like home.

This was our first time trying sopes and they were delicious! The mix between more traditional flavors and then a mashed potatoes and steak was a fun fusion. Our server was incredibly nice and we would come back. The bathroom sink wasn’t working for washing your hands would be my only suggestion to the owners to get fixed!

An incredible experience. Not only is the food delicious and high-quality, but the experience from the moment you were welcomed until you left was like arriving at the home of a beloved relative who wants to feed you with the best they have in the kitchen. We felt so welcomed that we didn't want to leave. Thank you, Mau, for being an incredible human being and an incredible host.
We loved the sopes. We ordered the huitlacoche (our favorite), the jackfruit, the shrimp with mole, and the tuna sopes, all of which were delicious.

Rich and different but miniature soups. 100 pesos for a small sope, it doesn't seem fair to me. Focused on Americans (like almost all restaurants in San Pancho)

I’ve been reading about this place back home ( Boston). Absolutely did not let me down. The flavor of each dish is unique to its own. When you close your eyes after each bite and go to that happy place. Something is right!! So just enjoy it. Red Sox fan !

An incredible experience, without a doubt you cannot leave San Pancho without having passed through this place, the kindness of the owner and his way of sharing his project is the most admirable. You come to this place and enjoy everything, the mix of flavors is wonderful, each ingredient is felt on the palate, each dish is made with a lot of dedication and love. I loved it, it became my favorite place to eat in San Pancho. Invite your foreign friends to come, you will not regret it, you will receive an explanation of what Mexican culture is. Ame.

Delicious and quality sopes! They are also gluten-free. I loved the shrimp mole - came back for it multiple times during my week in San Pancho. The owner is very kind and has very high standards. This is a wonderful tucked away restaurant with a cute patio - highly recommend!
This is not just a meal, this is an experience. Mau and the team have a beautiful vision in sharing their love of food and culture. The sopes were fresh and delicious. Cannot wait to come back and try the rest!

Very pleasantly impressed by this unassuming little eatery. The shrimp mole sope was one of the best bites of food I’ve had in a long time… so much so that I was tempted to come back here every night (and probably should have). Magic juice was great, so was the staff and patio ambiance. Very lovely restaurant.

We had a wonderful lunch here! It’s a relaxed vibe, just off the main street. The menu is small but the food is really high quality and the service was fantastic. Loved it!
Delicious food in a warm welcoming atmosphere, can’t recommend enough
If I could give 100 stars I would. We arrived at Su Pancha Madre on a slower Sunday evening, looking for some quick dinner. What we received was some of the most delicious food we’ve had in San Pancho, met with the warmest service staff, local live music, and incredible atmosphere. If we could eat here every day of the year, we would. A must visit for anyone stopping in San Pancho, or staying the night.
