NOT RECOMMENDED!nnFlavor: 80/100nThe consistency is poor; there are places with food with better consistency and flavor. They use cumin and go overboard, robbing the dish of its flavor.nnQuality: 60/100nThey brought some waffles with strawberries that looked and tasted bad, and the almonds were a bit stale.nnVariety: 100/100nnCleanliness: 30/100nIt seems like they opened it and never cleaned it thoroughly. In the bathroom, the toilet where you sit was dirty.nThe cushions have NEVER been cleaned.nThere are cobwebs.nThe menus are dirty.nThe display cases are dirty.nnAtmosphere: 40/100nBetween the music, which has poor sound quality and the cleanliness, it doesn't create a good atmosphere.nnService: 80/100nThe staff is friendly, but they need to pay more attention to several details.nPlus, there were only two people: the chef and Batista, who also serves as a waiter.nnI ordered:n1. Strawberry waffles, which looked bad with rancid almonds. The waffle consistency wasn't good.nn2. Lasagna, which was the only thing I liked.nn3. Egg shakshuka: the cumin was too much, which makes it unenjoyable. Unless you're a cumin lover, order them. If not, don't order them at all.nnThey accept cards and cash.nnIt's pet-friendly.nnParking: You can leave your car outside on the street.nnIt's NOT wheelchair-accessible.nnIf you're hungry and have celiac disease, go ahead, but there are some restrictions.nnAlthough you can look for better options.
Mango and passion fruit cake, moist with the crunch of passion fruit seeds.nCappuccino with macadamia nut milk. I wish the coffee had a stronger taste or effect. I loved the size of the cup!
The worst matcha latte of my life. A joke. The matcha was low quality and cheap and stuck to the bottom of the cup. Horrible flavor. Shame on you.
It was just okay. Came here for lunch and there was only one other table but the service was extremely slow. Only one waiter who was making the drinks, taking orders, and running the food so I was forgiving. Definitely need more than one waiter. Because there was only waitress, our food was pretty cold when it was finally brought out to our table. Food was really good. Overall, not a good first impression and 8 hours later, 3 people in my party are very sick.
I’ve been to MANY gluten free bakeries around the world and this is the worst I’ve ever eaten at. Everything crumbles apart and is served cold (even the warm dishes they bring out cold). It took them 30 minutes to bring our food for it to be cold and dry. We were the only people there at 9am. Unless you are vegan and gluten free and don’t have any other choice, I’d highly recommend skipping this place. It is not worth the money or extended time you’ll wait to get your cold food.
The service is terrible, with no interest from the workers in serving customers
I loved everything delicious, very friendly service
Ernesto, thank you very much for your recommendations!nnHighly recommended if you are intolerant to dairy - gluten :)))nnEverything is wonderful ♥️✨⚜️
Popped in for coffee, but this gluten free breakfast spot is amazing! Since the establishment is totally gluten free and sugar free, my little one was able to try just about everything we ordered. Would recommend to anyone!
I had a terrible experience with desserts, starting with the raspberry tiramisu... super tasteless and at the end with a strange, very bitter taste.nThe lemon square was one of my favorites but on this occasion it had a very chewy texture and was otherwise very dry.nAnd to finish the Magnum cake, very dry as if it had been in the refrigerator for many days and the chocolate coating was very greasy.nIn everything else, excellent service, both in the food and in the manager's treatment, but TERRIBLE IN THE DESSERTS.
Absolutely delish!! Great atmosphere and beautiful presentation!!
GLUTEN FREE! The restaurant was not exactly as I expected. There was no outdoor seating. We came in and luckily, we were able to get a table in the front looking out onto the street. We ordered at the bar and we were served at the table. Our server was super helpful! the food was absolutely delicious. We had the enfrijoladas and mollete. He brought us a chocolate covered twinky gratis and that also was very good and would recommend the pastries.
AMAZING great service good food and atmosphere- Owner was so nice and friendly- thanks for a wonderful experience
We loved everything! Super delicious food and drinks! The service, the attention, super friendly!, 1000% recommended!
Super cute little eatery! Was great to have all the gluten free options! We will come again!
The best gluten free tiramisu!
Two friends and I tried this place for the first time. I hate to put down any dedicated gluten free place but all of our dishes were extremely dry: french toast, waffles, margarita pizza. None of us could finish them. There are ways to make good, moist, gluten free food and this does not come close.. looking at other reviews it seems this place has been open for many years but has not improved. We also got drinks, the chai frappe which was just milk with cinnamon, I could hardly identify the chai, and pink lemonade which was overly carbonated to the point it was undrinkable for her and I. On the bright side, service and atmosphere are great.. however, we will not return.
Great service! As someone with celiac it was very comforting to know I could eat everything. Would highly recommend!
I bought two baby-friendly cupcakes, beautiful and delicious. My baby loved them. Plus, the service was excellent; they're super friendly.
Sorry to say, but some of the worst gluten free food I’ve had. Nothing that we ate (pizza, sandwich, brownie) was remotely good. The server was perfectly nice and pleasant, no issue with the service. I feel horribly guilty for dragging my non gluten free wife here.
I had been to the Polanco branch and ventured out to check out this other one. I really liked it. The food is delicious and the location is convenient for a quick coffee.
Very cute little spot where everything is gluten free! Super refreshing to go somewhere in CDMX where I could eat everything on the menu. Loved!!
We loved the food and atmosphere at La Otilia. We're from New York, and the service was great and bilingual.
The food wasn’t good really not tasty and everything very expensive. They didn’t behave with honor to their guests.
The cakes are delicious and very healthy! The service is also perfect.
Good experience, Keto food, very expensive, nice atmosphere and excellent service.
Great cafe, very attentive service and a wide range of food options, coffees, and juices/health shots. Great and chill atmosphere.
The place is very cozy, the food is very healthy but for the same reason the prices are high, it is ideal for vegetarians, what I liked most is that they are Petfriendly, I was able to be with my pet and they offered him water
I hope the service in the branch is better than through Rappi. They changed an item without consulting me and everything arrived in terrible condition.
My order was 100% online, shipped to my home, and arrived intact. They were super attentive and monitored everything from the start; the cake was beautiful and fresh. It's a very healthy option, and the flavor is far from the typical cake with lots of sugar (take this into account when ordering, especially if you're used to conventional cakes), but overall, it was a super good choice. I loved it :)
La Otilia is a true paradise for those of us who live with gluten intolerance. From the first time I went, I fell in love with the food: each dish has a spectacular flavor, and you can tell that it is made with great care and dedication. It's so rare to find a place where you can not only eat in peace, but where EVERYTHING is delicious. I love knowing that I can enjoy without fear and that, furthermore, each visit is a unique experience. The service is warm and the atmosphere is cozy, which makes it my favorite restaurant. Thank you for creating such a special place that truly takes care of us and our health! La Otilia is much more than a restaurant, it is a gift.
Excellent service and very good quality of food
I really wanted to give this place a great rating, however I want to give my honest opinion.nThe atmosphere is nice, good location, decor is very cute and the staff is very nice. Unfortunately that is worth a positive attributes stop.nnI ordered the salmon bagel and the burrata. Presentation but when I cut the bagel and took a bite of the salmon I instantly knew the food was bad. The bagel practically crumbled and tasted stale and the salmon tasted bad and it smelled bad as well. They claimed it was fresh but I immediately stopped eating it. I decided to try eating the burrata instead, but when I tried to cut it, it was hard and rubbery, tasted a little sour and the consistency was incorrect ( burrata is one of my favorite foliages so I'm familiar with it). So I gave up, paid the bill and left, with only a few bites eaten. By the time I got back to my hotel room my stomach started to hurt and I felt sick for the next three days with food poisoning. Sort of ruin the remainder of my plansnnHopefully this is just a one-off situation for this place.
A hidden gem. Delicious pastries. Relaxing atmosphere. Excellent coffee.
